KATHMANDU : The Parliamentary Hearing Committee of the Federal Parliament has initiated the parliamentary hearing process of the proposed Nepali Ambassador to Germany, Belgium and Pakistan. The government had recommended Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gehendra Rajbhandari (Belgium and European Union), Tapas Adhikari (Pakistan) and Ramkaji Khadka as ambassadors to Germany for a parliamentary hearing. Yesterday’s meeting of the committee decided to publish the information for public information or complaint within 10 days with clear grounds and evidence if anyone thinks it is not appropriate to appoint him to the post, said Chairman Laxman Lal Karna. There is a constitutional provision for the President to appoint an ambassador on the recommendation of the government after the name of the proposed person is approved through a parliamentary hearing.
