GHAZNI: A bomb blast near the eastern Afghan state of Ghazni has killed at least 15 children. Another 20 people were injured in the incident. The cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained. The bomber struck shortly after 2 p.m. local time.
According to locals, the bomb, which was found in a state of disrepair, exploded when the children tried to sell it in a shop thinking of other items. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a rickshaw.
