KATHMANDU : The water level in the main rivers of the country is declining today.
Director General of the Department of Water and Meteorology Sarju Vaidya informed that the flow of rivers including Kankai, Kamala, Bagmati and Narayani is declining.
He said that the flow of water in Koshi and its tributaries was increasing but in Kankai, Kamala, Bagmati, Narayani, West Rapti, Babai and some tributaries decreasing.
Similarly, the flow in Mahakali, Karnali and its tributaries is decreasing. He said that the flow in Kankai, Kamala and Bagmati rivers is fluctuating.
