KATHMANDU: After the Supreme Court restored the House of Representatives, the CPN (Maoist) MPs are in a dilemma.
Though it is said that Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Nepal have majority MPs, Oli faction has also claimed that it has majority MPs. That is why the MPs are in tension.
The Dahal-Nepal faction is preparing to file a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in the next sitting of the House of Representatives.
As the name of the new Prime Minister has to be mentioned along with the proposal, the Dahal-Nepal faction is preparing a list with the signatures of the MPs of their party.
Prime Minister Oli also held a meeting of MPs close to him at Hotel Yak & Yeti on Friday to gain a majority. The Oli faction is preparing to face a no-confidence motion in parliament.
