Kathmandu. The second meeting of the task force formed by the ruling CPN-UML to settle the dispute is still being held today. According to UML parliamentary party deputy leader and Oli faction coordinator in the task force, the meeting will be held at Singha Durbar at 7 pm today.
Nemwang said that today’s meeting will discuss the scope of work of the task force and its working procedures. Earlier, the first meeting of the party held on Tuesday has started working to spread the message of unity.
The first meeting of the task force has called on the party ranks not to work to weaken unity and create contradictions.
The meeting held at Singha Durbar had requested for the cooperation of all to move ahead in a united manner by resolving the problems seen in the party. Leaders Bhim Rawal and Pradip Gyawali said that the task force had started working with the message of unity and appealed for help.
He said that today’s meeting will also discuss the by-election of the National Assembly to be held tomorrow.
The task force consists of Bishnu Poudel, Pradip Gyawali, Shankar Pokharel and Bishnu Rimal led by Subash Chandra Nemwang on behalf of Chairman KP Sharma Oli. On behalf of leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Bhim Rawal has Ghanshyam Bhusal, Gokarna Bista, Surendra Pandey and Raghuji Pant as members.
The task force will seek ways to return the party to its structure on May 20, 2018 BS and maintain party unity.
Similarly, the same task force will work to find a solution by keeping the management of the Maoist leaders who have joined the UML at the center.
