One-way resume of Narayangarh-Muglin road section

KATHMANDU: The one-way road has been brought into operation by removing the landslide on the Narayangarh-Muglin road section. The landslide had hit Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-6 at 4:20 this morning.

The road has been operational since 9:10 am after the landslide. According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, a landslide had also fallen at the same place at 8:45 pm on Thursday. The road was blocked by another landslide shortly after the landslide.

As soon as the one-way operation of the road, the stopped vehicles are heading towards the destination. Palung-Naubise section reopened Tistung: The Palung-Naubise section of the Tribhuvan Highway, which was blocked since last night, has been reopened after the landslide on the road was removed. The Tribhuvan Highway was blocked when a landslide hit Satghumti at around 2 last night.

Police said that the landslide was averted so that one-way vehicles could operate. Police Inspector Ruk Bahadur Khadka of Khanikhola Area Police Office said that four-wheelers have been allowed to run now.
