KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has expelled three leaders from the party.
The party’s disciplinary committee has expelled Govindaraj Joshi, Pushkar Nath Ojha and Ram Bahadur Bista from the party.
The committee said that the decision to expel them was taken as the disciplinary committee did not give a satisfactory answer to all the three and was found to have violated the party’s discipline.
The committee has stated that former minister Joshi has been expelled from the party for five years.
Similarly, former minister and Kailali general committee member Ojha has also been expelled from the party for five years. He is accused of playing a role in defeating Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba’s wife Arju Deuba in Kailali.
Similarly, Dadeldhura Congress office secretary Bista has been expelled for three years.
