KATHMANDU: Russia says it is preparing to vaccinate against a corona virus within two weeks.
Russian officials say they are working to get the vaccine approved on or before August 10. The vaccine was developed by the Gamalya Institute in Moscow. According to him, the vaccine will be approved for public use and the first priority will be given to health workers.
However, Russia has not released any scientific facts about its vaccine test, and the international media is concerned about its safety and effectiveness. Critics have accused the Kremlin (Office of the President) of trying to force the vaccine out soon.
