274 new COVID-19 cases in Nepal, 227 discharged

KATHMANDU: 274 new coronavirus cases has been confirmed on Thursday in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection has been confirmed in 274 more people in the last 24 hours.

Spokesperson of the ministry Dr Jageshwor Gautam informed at a regular media briefing that corona infection was confirmed in 274 people in tests conducted in various laboratories of the country.

Along with this, the number of corona infected in Nepal has reached 19 thousand 547. So far, 5,227 infected people are active, said spokesperson Gautam.

Meanwhile, 227 more corona infected people have returned home today. With this, the number of people returning home free from infection has reached 14,248.

In the last 24 hours, 6,304 people from various laboratories have been tested using PCR method.

Today, 13 thousand 201 people are in quarantine across the country.
