KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation has adjusted the price of petroleum products. The price of diesel, petrol and kerosene has been increased by Rs 2 per liter with effect from 12 noon on Saturday, said Binit Mani Upadhyaya, spokesperson of the corporation.
The price of diesel and kerosene and petrol in the Kathmandu Valley has been fixed at Rs 90 and Rs 104 per liter, respectively, after the new price hike. The corporation has stated that the prices of cooking gas and aviation fuel have not been adjusted.
The corporation has clarified that the price has been increased as per the automatic price adjustment procedure as the price of petroleum has been increased as per the new price received from the Indian Oil Corporation on August 1.
