PM Oli visits under-construction museum at his private residence

BHAKTAPUR: Prime Minister and Chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Sharma Oli today visited his private residence at Balkot and met with people from different walks of life.

This is the third time that the Prime Minister visited his private residence after assuming the prime ministerial berth some two and a half years ago. The PM and his spouse Radhika Shakya also visited a museum which is under-construction in his residence.

The museum with the collection of diverse aspects of Oli’s life, photographs, books, crucial documents and others would be devoted to a trust as announced by the PM. On the occasion, Oli said that he would return to this house after two and a half years for permanent residence.

Former Ministers Gokul Baskota and Mahesh Basnet among others were present where the PM also held political parleys. As shared by Basnet, who is also the lawmaker from Bhaktapur, the PM said that it was necessary to reach to a consensus over the intraparty disputes at the earliest possible time for the interest of the country and people.

Likewise, PM Oli took stock of the security situation of Bhaktapur district with the Chief District Officer Hum Kala Pandey and district-level chiefs of the security bodies.
