The PCR of the players of the Nepali national men’s football team will be tested from today.
According to Kiran Rai, spokesperson of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the PCR test of the quarantined players is scheduled to be completed by the 27th of this month. Preparations have been made to test the PCR of 70 players and officials.
The test will be held at Patan Hospital in Lalitpur. The players called for closed training are currently staying in quarantine at hotels and some houses in the valley. ANFA, which plans to start training from September 1, has stated that it will conduct training in three groups.
Nepal is preparing for the joint selection of FIFA World Cup 2022 AFC Asian Cup 2023. After playing five games of the selection, Nepal will play the remaining three games at the Dasharath Stadium.
