DHANGADHI: The temporary capital of the far-western state, Dhangadhi, has been inundated due to continuous rains. Most of the main market areas of Dhangadhi including LN Chowk, Milan Chowk, Bishalnagar, behind Rashtra Bank and Uttar Behdi have been inundated.

Similarly, the Kailali administration has requested the locals to move to safer places as the rivers flowing through the eastern region of Kailali including Bhajani, Joshipur, Tikapur, Lalbozhi and other rivers are continuously flowing in Karnali, Kandra, Patharaiya, Mohana, Khutiya and Sivaganga.

Three people were killed and thousands of hectares of paddy fields were damaged in Bhajani Municipality-8 due to the floods on July 30.
