Nepal Oil Corporation tanker explodes in Biratnagar
KATHMANDU : A fuel tanker of Nepal Oil Corporation has exploded in Biratnagar. The tanker exploded at Ram Avtar Motors Garage, about 500 meters north of the Nepal Oil Corporation's state office. Local Kirtiraj Karki informed that three persons of Biratnagar-4 Pragati Tol fell unconscious after the blast. According to him, two workers working in the garage also fainted. The tanker (Na 4 Kha 7166) parked in the garage exploded and the rear part was completely damaged. ....
Corona infection to 3 more people including NOC general secretary Shrestha
KATHMANDU :  Ninendra Raj Shrestha, general secretary of the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) and three others have been confirmed to be infected with corona virus (Covid-19). According to NOC General Secretary Shrestha, three of them, including himself, were infected after a swab test of 20 people, including officials and other staff members of the Olympic Committee's office in Satdobato. According to him, despite the infection, all the three have no symptoms of Covid-19. ....

KATHMANDU : Two women infected with corona have died at Patan Hospital. The deceased have been identified as a 51-year-old woman from Kathmandu and a 62-year-old woman from Bhaktapur. 18-year-old girl arrested with 6 kg of opium
KATHMANDU : Two persons, including an 18-year-old girl, have been arrested from Tarkeshwar in Kathmandu with 6 kg of opium. Among the arrested are Pramila Raut of Bhimeshwor Municipality-6 of Dolakha and Dilip Bishwakarma, 22, of Triveni Municipality of Jajarkot. Both were living in Tarkeshwar, Kathmandu. FNJ demands free PCR test for journalists
  KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has urged the government to make arrangements for free PCR testing of corona virus (Covid 19) for journalists who go to the workplace to collect news. FNJ Secretary General Ramesh Bista has issued a press release urging to arrange free PCR test for media personnel working in the workplace amid high risk of infection with Covid 19.
